Environmental reportThis environmental report includes Fagerhults Belysning and it’s three production plants in Habo, Örnsköldsvik and Falkenberg.
Fagerhult´s production processes embrace environmentally correct methods – our manufacturing units are advanced plants of a very high standard. We consider production based on efficient utilisation of raw materials and energy to be of great importance. An example is our paint shop where traditional paint spraying has been minimized and been replaced by methods such as powder coating and water-based preparation. Materials components and packing shall be recyclable wherever possible. With new designs we have managed to make significant reduction of material waste. New routines for collection and handling of waste have increased the recycling.

Fagerhults runs active and long-term environmental work and our employees undergo continuous training. Environmental certification in accordance with the ISO standard 14001 and environmental report in accordance with EMAS are a natural part of the company’s long term environmental strategy. We want to take responsibility for our own activities and, at the same time, satisfy the demands of the world around us through environmental work. The result we hope is a healthier environment and improved products. .
